“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.”

2 decades in the creative industry.
From being the one behind the lens, to being the guy standing behind the guy behind the lens.

Maybe life's a full circle indeed.
Having a rescue, changed my life. I have learnt so much from him.
There are days I fear, after he's long gone, that I'll forget all the good he has taught me.
It's days like these, that I pick up my camera to capture a portrait of him.
Hoping to freeze the moment, freeze the fear, freeze the good.

In fact, I think my rescued boy, rescued me instead.
HERE COME THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
To me, the most important aspect of a portraiture session is feeling at ease. For the subject, not me.
I don't really care if I'm forced to lie on my tummy or made to contort like a Chinese acrobat throughout. Okay, that's not true. I don't care, but I would need painkillers to not care.

A typical session will last about an hour. At your place of course.
This will include setup, and spending a bit of time hanging out so that your dog/cat/lizard feels comfortable.
